THE LODGE
Our home for the week is Encanta la Vida (“enchanted life”), a unique and totally solar powered jungle beach lodge at the edge of the rainforest. Encanta la Vida features a fresh water pool, a lively juice and spirits bar, a variety of unique rooms, and a gorgeous two story yoga deck overlooking the water. Set across the road from the fabulous Playa Pan Dulce, you’ll be surrounded by the sights and sound of the jungle for ultimate relaxation and a total reset of your senses and energy. Plenty of hammocks and lounge areas make Encanta la Vida perfect for beating the winter blues.
Each bungalow is super spacious and unique with big beds, en-suite bathroom, and private decks with hammocks and total chill vibe. The jungle and ocean are your soundscape. We offer shared rooms with 2 or 3 King / Queen beds with limited Private suite options for couples or solo travelers. You’ll have full use of the property, pool, and yoga deck all at your disposal!
THE YOGA
Julie is known for her signature classes that are balanced experiences for your body, and uplifting for your spirit. You’ll begin and end each day with yoga classes that explore the mythic stories of yoga, designed to invoke and reestablish connection to what really matters. Daily practice and meditation overlooking the wilds of the jungle combined with the roar of the sea will revitalize your routine, and realign you from the inside out. Monkeys, Morphos, and Toucans will all be daily visitors!

Teeming with life, the Osa is home to four species of monkeys, the illustrious Blue Morpho butterfly, Toucans, Scarlett Macaws, and flora and fauna like you’ve never seen before. The vast Pacific Ocean and one-of-a-kind near empty beaches Pan Dulce and Backwash provide picturesque waves, perfect swimming, and the exquisite background to the entire adventure. Hike through the jungle, climb a Matapalo tree, or dare the waterfall repelling or zip lining. GETTING THERE
ARRIVAL: Fly into SJO – San Jose International Airport. Consider arriving the night before, and staying in an AirBnB or hotel overnight, and booking your Sansa flight early morning.
DOMESTIC TRAVEL: We recommend booking round trip connecting flight with Sansa Airlines with a 2 hour window to get through immigration upon arrival in SJO.
DEPARTURE: Check out is 11am. Best to book an international flight that departs after 11am, onward.
