Thanksgiving Flow

A deeply nourishing sequence of hip openers and twisting poses. Class is an uninterrupted flow invoking gratitude, abundance, and remembrance of shunyata - a spaciousness inside that lacks nothing. Sequence includes deep twists, Sirsasana (headstand), and Urdhva Dhanurasana (full wheel), with optional use of the wall for inversions. Props: 2 blocks, 1 blanket.

Balance

Autumnal Equinox is a time of nature's balance between light and dark. In this class you'll work the balancing forces of the back and front body, and learn to stabilize using your core and midline. Sequence includes Handstand practice, partner work, and optional use of a wall.

Deepening

A playful and deep practice for the legs, hips, and hamstrings. Class illuminates the story of Sarasvati, goddess of creativity and self expression. We explore the specific principles and actions that unlock self determination, creative impulse, and clarity of action. Featuring original composed music during Savasana by Aaron Jaffe of Novacaine Studios.

This dynamic intermediate level 60 minute practice includes standing poses, Pincha Muyerasana (forearm stand), back bends, and shoulder stand inspiring a deeper understanding of Vissudha chakra, the throat chakra, which governs clarity in communication.

Releasing the Knots

Yoga can give access to release the 'grantas' (knots): physical and subtle knots that hold us tight in the shoulders, hips, chest, and heart. This 45 minute mixed level practice moves steadily through standing poses, binds, back bends, and hip openers. Includes inversion practice of Pincha Muyerasana (forearm stand) and Sirsasana (headstand).
